i tryed to install derectx 8.0 and 8.1 and it gets half way thin doesn't respond! plz help fix this problem!

Download DirectX 8.0 or 8.1 on your desk. Then reboot in safe mode. Not sure but may be...

na im sorry but that didn't work i evin tryed to reload windows but it went to reload the files then paused i pressed alt ctrl del and the setup was not responding i tryed it twice but same both times! plz help
